Designed to match the event’s theme and colour palette, the fountain was placed near the entrance where it worked both as a striking visual centrepiece and a welcoming element for arriving guests.
The Dancing Fountains indoor fountain created for a corporate event at
Kaapelitehdas in Helsinki was designed to serve as a striking visual
centrepiece near the event entrance. The water feature was integrated
into the event’s theme and colour palette, creating movement, light
and atmosphere as guests arrived.
Indoor fountains are a surprisingly practical solution for event
organisers. The installation includes the pool, pumps, water technology
and lighting, and if necessary the required water can also be delivered
to the venue using a water tank. Alternatively the system can be filled
directly from the venue’s water connection.
In this installation the pool contained approximately 9,000 litres of
water. The structure distributes the load evenly across a wide area,
resulting in an approximate floor load of 500 kg per square metre.
This makes the installation suitable for many types of event venues,
including exhibition halls, event spaces and large indoor halls.
The entire installation was assembled on site within a few hours, after
which the fountain could be programmed and synchronised with the event
lighting system. The result was a visually striking water feature that
encouraged guests to stop, photograph and share the experience.
